We don’t have one in our hands yet, but some lucky folks have got their mitts on a Motorola DROID already and have revealed this Android powerhouse in all it’s unboxed grandeur. Take a look at the unboxing video below and see if it gets your adrenalin pumping and all geared up to pick up a DROID on November 6th. That’s right, the rest of us mere mortals can get our own DROID in about a week. Until then, feast your eyes.
The folks over at Phandroid have got their hands on the HTC Hero for Sprint. We would love to get our hands on one ourselves, but fortunately, Phandroid has posted a video of the unboxing and you can watch it for a first look. It’s great another Android handset is hitting the streets, and also great that it’s at another carrier besides T-Mobile for the sake of variety and wider distribution. Take a look!
We’ve mentioned the impending release of the General Mobile DSTL1 before, and now we have an unboxing video, courtesy of Michael Oryl of Android Authority. The DSTL1 is a dual-SIM Android device and you will see in the video the unboxing and initial start-up of the Android OS. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t envious of Mr. Oryl, but we’re glad he’s provided video. Take a look!
Even though it’s not available to the general public yet, the lucky folks over at Android Community got an early Christmas present from HTC: an unlocked Hero. They wasted no time posting a video of the unboxing, some hands-on time using the new Sense interface, and tons of photos, of course. They may not be going out on a limb when they say it may be the best Android device yet. Here is a reminder of the Hero’s specs:
3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen
5-megapixel camera
HSPA
WiFi, GPS
Android OS 1.5 “Cupcake”
SENSE!
Those of us in the U.S. are anxiously awaiting our own version and want badly to get our hands on that Sense UI. In the meantime, jump over to Android Community for photos and a video walkthrough!
