Motorola DROID owners may have a way to enjoy the virtues of multi-touch on their device if they are willing to roll up their sleeves and do a little ROM flashing. Courtesy of the resourceful members over at AllDroid Forums, DROID owners can look forward to adding multi-touch capabilities via some recent successful firmware hacking of the Motorola Milestone, the multi-touch capable European version of the DROID. The video below demonstrates their success and they are now working on cooking up a ROM for the rest of us mere mortals. It appears that the Motorola Milestone, also known as the Droid, is allegedly coming to the UK on December 7th via online retailer Expansys for £449.99. Rumors abound that T-Mobile and Vodafone plan to release the Milestone in the UK, but as of yet, there is no official announcement.
