As much as most people would already like to see updates to bring current handsets to Android 2.2, the latest one for both the HTC Legend and Desire are just simple big fixes to address some issues that have come up. HTC announced the availability of two OTA firmware updates for the two handsets which is only at a paltry 4MB in size. Although HTC didn’t indicate as to what exactly the firmware updates are all about, xda-developers believes that it will include new radio images, the ability for the HQ option for the YouTube app, and correct Facebook/unknown contact issues. In addition, it’s speculated that it will now offer increased speaker volume. Currently it looks like HTC Legend owners can start the OTA process to get the update, but it has yet to arrive for the HTC Desire.
