As sure as the sun rises and sets, there are those who have nothing better to do with their time than create malicious software and viruses in their attempt to wreak havoc with the computing world. One of the largest targets is Microsoft, but others, like Apple, have to deal with viruses also.

Symantec, one of the more well-known anti-virus software developers, states that they will keep an eye on Android and evaluate if they will develop anti-virus software for it in the future. It would make more sense to do so as Android moves into the netbook market. Hopefully the virus-makers will continue to focus on Microsoft and leave our favorite little green ‘droid alone!
